Web Site

  • Content-rich homepage showing latest updates and the next events.
  • News items first appear on the homepage and are automatically archived into a page for each year.
  • RSS Feed for latest news.
  • Events are automatically removed from the site when they are in the past, and placed in an archive list
  • Events diary automatically maintains a public google calendar.
  • A list of public events is available at all times to website users, along with time, location and contact information.
  • The web driver interface makes adding new events and news childsplay.
  • It is also easy to add new pages at any time, and maintain their content from any internet connected computer.
  • An image gallery is available, categorized into years and events.
  • Spam protected guestbook. Where guestbook signings get past the filtering they still have to be approved by a band member before they are made public.

Private Area

  • Access to the private area is via a username and password.
  • News items specific to band members are shown in the private area.
  • Messaging between users is available.
  • A discussion forum for band members is available.
  • Member list is available, with contact details kept up to date by band members themselves.
  • A private version of the gallery can be used to show pictures to members only
  • Full events diary featuring both public and private events.
  • Printable joblist page for producing band handouts.
  • As events are changed through the site, a private google calendar featuring all events is maintained for band members use.
  • Integrated band music library database, only available to selected users and with permission to change or just look.
  • If the library is correct, members can see a list of music they should have in their pads.

Site Maintenance

  • The site is maintained through an online admin site.
  • It can be changed from anywhere with an internet connected computer.
  • Images can be uploaded direct into the admin site.
  • Your bands domain name can be used for the site.
  • The admin site can also maintain email aliases for your band's domain, forwarding to specific band members
  • Manage robots.txt rules from the admin site.
  • Configure redirects to move old paths to new pages.
  • Comprehensive Web Analytics for seeing who has visited your site.

Look & Feel

  • FTP space is available to upload your own images and CSS.
  • Any HTML on the site can be changed as you see fit.
  • Content managed pages allow any URL to be created and text maintained for it.
  • Initial setup wizards allow simple styling to be done on the default site, but this can be changed later.
  • Restyle at any time and have your new style apply to all pages immediately.
