What is a Module?
Modules are the building blocks of your website. They provide functionality which you can then customise further by changing templates.
This section provides a reference to the various modules that are available to turn on and off for your web site. Go to your Control Panel to configure the modules you have enabled for your site.
Modules List
This list shows all the available modules in the system along with a brief description of what the module does. For more details, please click on a module name.
Audio
This module provides pages in the private area where users can download mp3 files.
Contests
This module is designed to provide a comprehensive archive of contest appearances.
Events
The event system will store upcoming events that the band will be attending. Google calendar integration is also available.
Forum
A simple discussion forum.
FriendsList
Fundraising
This modules provides somewhere on the site for people to suggest fundraising events.
Gallery
This module provides a photo gallery, both public and private.
Guestbook
This module provides a guestbook with rudimentary spam protection. Any new signings of the guestbook that pass some basic rules are listed in the homepage of the private area, where they can either be deleted or accepted. Once accepted, they will be displayed on the guestbook page.
History
This module is used to provide a comprehensive history of the band. If you require a single page, then it is probably easier to disable this module and just use a flatpage.
Home
Provides a default homepage which displays latest news items, next few events and details of the band's current vacancies.
Library
Provides a place to store the music library.
Members
This module provides both public and private member lists.
Messages
A simple mechanism for sending messages between members of the same band.
News
This module provides a news archive, which will automatically separate out news items into the years that they were posted.
Private
This modules provides a private area, where band members can login and access various pages that are not available on the public site of the site.
Quotes
This module is used to hold quotes generated during rehearsals throughout the year. These quotes are then recycled for use at the Christmas party.
Recordings
This module provides pages about recordings that the band has made.
